Supra kill but barely

well I'm going out to lunch from work and a guy I work with has a green supra with a turbo and its the newer body style. Well I just got a butt load of upgrades and wanted to test them so i'm at the light turning on to a 2 lane street with him right behind me. So the light turns green and I sped up to 45 quick but he wasnt going quick so I just stayed at 45 (the speed limit there) and finally notice him flying up on me so I threw it into second and put it down 3/4 of the throttle (because my tires aren't too good so I spin if i floor it until i get to 60 usually). well he stayed right at my back bumper not making nor losing ground until I get to about 75 and put it into third and WOT and I started creeping away. we shut down at 110 and I gained around 2 feet. He was really upset and started blaming it on stupid stuff like he needs an oil change and stuff, but he excpeted defeat. I'm all smiles now

i heard they smooth out your idle and whatnot, just make the whole car function/run better and smoother. you cant tell a difference though?

Dumb question but, those ground kits hook to the negative of your battery. Where do you connect them in our cars w/the battery being in the back??

I am a former Supra owner and I was in the supra scene for a long time, those cars are beast from a roll.

Here is a little write up on the supra, these numbers are a bit on the fast side but you get an idea, but anything can happen in the real world so good kill. I have seen plenty of TT supras run 14s with a horrible driver so its possible. Motortrend ran a 13.4@106mph for the 1993 6speed. This article claims a 13.1@109mph.

With the fourth generation of the Supra, Toyota took a big leap in the direction of a more powerful sports car. The new Supra was completely redesigned, with rounded body styling partly based on the Ferrari F40 and featured two new engines: naturally aspirated 2JZ-GE 220 hp (164 kW) and 210 ft·lbf (285 N·m) of torque and a twin turbocharged 2JZ-GTE making 320 hp (239 kW), 315 ft·lbf (427 N·m) of torque. The turbocharged variant could achieve 0–60 mph in 4.6 seconds and 1/4 mile (402 m) in 13.1 seconds at 109 mph [2]. The stock turbos are capable of running around 450-500 bhp with an unrestricted airflow/exhaust system and an aftermarket boost controller (BPU Upgrade).
