03 Cobra Stole My Lunch! :(

On the way home from teaching dance today i caught a couple lights with a stock 03 cobra, the car was black with silver lettering in the rear bumper and im guessing it wasnt driven to its fullest potential because it was a chick driving it, im guessing she wasnt too bad of a driver because she was well capable of shifting the car quickly. I thought i would try my luck with the new pulley on because i havent gotten to race anything decent since it was installed other than an 883 harley sporster.

1st run: roll off of the light. i gave it too much throttle in first and started to wheel hop towards the top of first so i shifted into second and got a little more wheel hop but it wasnt as bad as it was in first. they had about a car on me by third.

2nd run: roll off of the light: gave it half throttle through first and shifiting into second with a tiny bit of wheel hop into 2nd but still a good run, off the jump they had me at thier 1/4 panel, when i could finaly go WOT i got to the back of thier door and held there till the middle of third when she shut it down.

like i said i doubt the car was being driven to its fullest potential but it was still a lot of fun

yea no, it definetly wasnt. Those cars are hella fast. I saw an episode of Hotrod tv where they worked on one. They got 380 out of it at the wheels stock. Then they added a pully, custom tune, cold air kit, and I think maybe underdrive pullys and got something like 440HP at the wheels. Insane.

Its definetly fun to play around though, even if you get your ass handed to you. GOOD KILL, even though it was reversed.

Im having a wet dream thinking about how hot that chick must have been. Chicks that drive high horsepower cars and drive them well are so fucking hot.

funny thing, Hotrod TV had a 02 Cobra on their today. (The dohc non supercharged model) They dyno'd it for a baseline and got 226HP. How pathetic is that. Then they put in two new cams and got 240HP. LOL

I gotta figure there must be something wrong with that particular car. But then my dad and I both searched the web and came across several other people that claimed to have dynod that low. Apparently Ford was having some issues with that motor.


It sure is nasty when they throw a blower on it though...

Damn hip hop i wish i could of set something up when BC3TECH was down here and had his 2.2L w/procharger running! could of tested the waters at this altitude compaired also was reading the thread over at cosr good stuff! we need to meet up and slap a procharger on your rizo!
