Skyline R32 GTR vs My tsi awd Talon (380hp)

He's got a full exhaust and I believe more boost than stock. I estimate his car at low 13s @ 107 mph. My talon now makes about 380 hp at the crank @ 22 psi of boost on 94 octane fuel no knock whatsoever. Runs 3.9s 0-60mph on dry pavement. 4.4 sec on wet pavement lol. Never ran it a full 1/4 mile but it's a definate 12 sec car.

We tried from a 40mph roll to 110mph. I walked him by about 2 cars.
We tried from a 20 mph roll to 100mph, I get a few cars. From a dead stop I beat him easy. The talon is a beast now and I still have small 16G turbo (maxed out).

you do realize that the R32 GTR is the fastest skyline out of the three as far as accelleration goes right?
those cars come stock running 13.1-13.2's more boost and exhaust would put an R32 GTR into the mid-mid/high 12's.
im guessing either:

A:the skyline driver couldnt driver for shit
B: it wasnt a GTR (AWD, twinturbo) but a GTS-T or GTS-M (RWD, single turbo)
or C: your car is a hell of a lot faster than high 12's

The guy is my friend. He paid 16 000$ canadian for it. It is a top rated imported vehicule (nicest skyline available for import). It has huge 3.5" exhaust and probably has a boost mod or 2. I think these cars stock were high 13s @ 104 mph with 4.8 sec 0-60mph. He is definetely faster than this. My Talon is most likely a 12.6 @ 110-112 mph car. I will g-tech it very soon

I estimate my friend's car to be low 13s @ 107 mph. This is my educated guess.

Depends on the model I think. One of the big car mags did a write up on them awhile back. One of the models was so good they now use it as standard test equipment. The midpak model didnt fair to bad also if I remember correctly. I will try and see if I can dig that issue out. They tested one on Hotrod TV last week that gave you HP/TQ figures. It was within five of their actual DYNO.

The G-tech is extremely accurate, even the old one. It gives a little bit lower numbers on the street usually since there is no VHT to make you hook up. It gives higher mph for a 110 mph car like mine would see 115-116mph on the g-tech. But the 1/4 mile time is right on the money everytime. Before the mods the talon ran 13.8@100mph on the G-tech. At the track it ran 13.7@96 mph the next day.

The track close to me is closed for the year, I tried to go but it rained every weekend. There is one a few hours away that is still open. I may go there but if something breaks, it will cost an arm and a leg. You never know when you launch @ 5000 rpm and boost.

There was nothing he could have done. He didn't lose time between shifts. He's used to AWD turbo cars. He's not the greatest driver but he's got experience. The Talon is faster no doubt. The Skyline is 320 hp stock and he has a few mods on it. My guess it's 350hp and it's a bit heavier than the Talon. I had a passenger too and he was alone. my 140lbs passenger is cost me 18 hp at least.
