3 for 3 can my luck hold out?

I'm 3 for 3 since Thursday last week.

Driving by the soft ball park while my wife was playing. doing the speed limit pushed in the clutch and reved the motor. My Dezod full exhaust is loud enough for her to hear. I saw her playing outfield so I push in the clutch and rev the motor a couple times. The next thing I know I 've got a big red light in my mirror. Lady officer ask who I'm racing, who was in the mousetang next to me, is that an a/m exhaust and on and on. Takes my license and and goes to her car comes back and says have a nice night and quit reving the motor.

Late Thursday night this week
I'm coming back from the shop and a Lexus sport coupe blows by me doing about 120+ I know he was going way faster than I was cause I'm doing 90. He gets cut off and has to hit the brakes just in front of me so I figure I'll have a litle fun and see how well I can keep up. I drop into 3rd and at about 110 I can see this is pointless so I back down to 80 and a car pulls along side and the first thing I notice is a brush gurd on the grill then a big red spotlight hits me in the eyes. I think O'crap I'm going to jail. so I slow down to pull off the road and the CHP drives right on by and runs down the Lexus. By the time the CHP caught up to the lexus they were going up an offramp so I just drove on by I haven't put my plates on the car yet.

Today I had just finished installing the Bwoody traction bars and was trying them out for the first time in the cul-de-sac next to my shop it's about a 1/2 block long and perfect for it. as soon as I drop the clutch a local pasadena police car comes crusing by on the main road. I pull into the parking lot of the shop and had my license in my hand when he pulls up. young looks about 4 years older than my 15yr old so I think shit he's going to have a 'tude. Looks at the car and ask what I'm doing so I told him. He starts asking about the car is it the same drive train as the colbalt? what have I done to it? etc. Turns out he was at the GM demo day a few months ago and drove a Colbalt liked it and may pick one up. He said he would probably do some of the same mods as I've done and asked if he could come by some time when he's off duty and go for a ride.

Oh yeah! I try to keep it out of the triple digits, but damn it's hard to do. You got a radar detector? Best= Valtentine one ($400) closely followed by beltronics st1 ($450) and then passport x50 blue ($350). Some people don't believe in them, I say they are jacka$$'s. Take Care-

He's not kidding, Sometimes it's like a magnet... But yeah, I always promote a radar detector of good quality, as long as you aren't in virginia, or washington DC. And I am glad people on here actually understand that it helps. Yes I know, they can see you fly by and get you, but if they are actually out using radar/laser... at least you got a dang warning not to go into triple digits. Keep on Killin'!

I don't have a wing so that's out. It took me a while to get to the point in my life I can afford some toy's. Im my early 20's I lived on the beach all summer because I was saving for an apartment.
