Infinity G35 Coupe.....Dead

I haven't had a race in a long time but this morning I finally got one. I was running late for work this morning so I was hauling balls. I pass a white G35 doing about 90. Don't worry. I go to work very early and the freeway is mostly dead. Anyhow, I saw him hit it and start coming up on me so I slow down and let him catch up.

He pulls next to me and we are both doing about 75. I put in my clutch and rev it at him as I put it in third. He hits it and pulls about a fender on me because he gunned it first. His lead was short lived though. By the time that third gear was wound out, I pulled ahead. Once I hit fourth, it was good-bye G35. I pulled a few cars on him and looked down to see I was doing 115 so I let off. He flew by and I flashed my brights at him and got off at my exit.

Nothing like a 20 thousand dollar sport coupe handing a 40 thousand dollar sport coupe his ass.

I thought they were faster than that though. Once I hit fourth, it wasn't near the race I thought it was going to be. I had been wanting to race one for a while, but usually, the type of person who drives the car is not really the "racing" sort.

Jesus man I would have to say third gear was "wound out" the second you let off the clutch going 75

No way man. I wasn't in third very long but it wasn't wound out. I think third can go to around 90 if I'm not mistaken. Not sure because I'm always concentrating on the tach when running.

Nope. Not stock.

K&N CAI, BF 2.9 pulley, Bwoody Solid motor mounts and entire exhaust to 2.5" with a magnaflow muffler.

i wind out 3rd at 85 in the QC2 so 90 shouldn't be far off.

Try a 350z, they're lighter and a little better of a race.
