im driving home and a black 350z pulls up next to me, he keeps driving at the same speed next to me, so i gun it and he starts to chase. we get next to eachother at about 70mph and go from there, we stay neck and neck until about 120 then he starts to pull on me... he had an exaust and it was the newer ones, i have a 2.8, 42#s, k&n dropin, and hptuners. so should i have beaten him???

well, i used to get beat by them when i was stock, but not anymore. with the mods you have, you could deff take a stock 350z, so ya, he wasnt stock.

its not adnormal for a 6 cylinder 350z to start pulling on a 4 cylinder RL at 120mph LOL but he was definately not stock

Any car can beat any car... if it was stock... well, it shouldn't have happened... but with mods, anything goes.

Yeah, if you went from 40mph, you probably would have put a car or 2 on him, and it would have been more difficult for him to catch up.

they do have 300 hp stock so, what about from a launch how should i do???

All I have is a 3" pulley. I have spanked many Z cars. The other night I ran an Infinity G35. It ended up about the same as what you described. can never tell who or what is in the other car.
