Integra boy fails to impress his buddy.....

On the way home from work today, I had this red Integra come up on me tailgating and such. I couldn't do anything because there was traffic. So I slow down and let him pass me. He had rims, exhaust and a "Type R" badge on the back. I stay with him hoping for a break in traffic to see what he's got. No luck.

HOWEVER....there was a red light up ahead. I went around a couple of cars to make sure we would be lined up at the light. I wasn't gonna roll down my window or anything. I was just gonna take off quickly from the light and he'd follow suit if he wanted to go. Well...I didn't even have to do that. As soon as I pulled up, he rev'd at me. I look over and there are two dudes in there and they are smirking. I read the driver's lips as he tells his buddy, "watch this" and revs again. I look over at them, nod yes and rev back. I get that all too familiar nervous feeling before a run and wonder if this guy is a "real tuner' or just a ricer.

The light turns green. I drop the hammer and even spinning almost entirely through first, am still right next to him and he is not spinning at all. That's when I knew he was a ricer. Once I hit second, caught traction and wound it out, homeboy was about two buslengths behind me (maybe more). Just to pour some salt on the cut, I put it in third and wound it halfway through the revs. I then tapped the brakes. He stayed WAAAAYYY behind after that and ended up turning right at the next light I was stopped at. I rev'd it at him again as he made his right turn. He wouldn't even look over at me but I saw his buddy laughing.

Damn, I LOVE putting the ricers in their place.

I've always thought the best kills were the ones that included pax. I mean, if they're solo, they can always twist the story, ya know? But throw some of their buddies in with 'em, and now you've got WITNESSES...and of course, who's the BEST witness of them all???

I honestly did not know if I was gonna beat him. I've been beat by an Integra before. Of course, I found out afterwards that he was turboed and about 375 HP. I wasn't sure if this guy was one of those or not. The car looked real nice actually. But it was just that....all looks.

Kinda off topic, there is this tC that I see every day on the way to class, and it has an exhaust, and who knows if anything else. He always goes screaming by me, and I just kind of pace him a little and let him pass. I am sure his confidence is just through the roof.

I am waiting till I see him at a light, ask him if he wants to put a little money down (seriously, just a small amount) and them ream him a new one. lol. I let him 'win' daily, so It's just going to be a blast to tear him apart!

the thing is, the thing sounds sick. I don't think it really has anything done to it, but there is a guy from my hometown with a 270whp turbo tC.

But I am pretty sure he's not playing with me, and is really trying, lol.

I think a 270 hp tC is a VERY rare thing. It's a pretty safe bet that you'll beat him.

u can get the tC w/ TRD supercharger as well, so could be a very interesting race considering they 160hp to start w/

has happened to me twice.. one a hot ass asian girl in the passengar seat of an rx8 that was all riced out yellow with mazda speed gauges..pulled 2 cars on him. and a red ws6 pontiac by allmost a full car on the freeway..
