Stock RL Vs. Subaru WRX

Well I was one the way home from getting some wings at Wild Wings with some of my family. Pull out of the parking lot behind a mercedes CLK, I got beside it and realized it was a middle age. It would have prob. raped me so I drove on lol. Well in the distance I see a car that looked like a WRX, so sped up to like 60 just catch up with this guy. Well I was right it was a WRX, older model, I dropped it into 3rd going 60 and I see the passenger laughing his ass off. So I knew they were going to race me. The light ahead was red, but we rolled up side by side going about 20 and then the light turns green. He stomps it and so do I. We are about even until 30 and then I pull on him hard. I pulled to about 2 cars and it stayed that way until about 100.

When I hit 100 my 13 yr old. sister told me to slow down, lol. I didn't realize I was at 100 until she said something.

Now is this normal for me to pull this hard on a WRX? As far as I could tell it was stock. I pulled into the next gas station and of course he didn't, and drove off. I really wanted to know what he had. I know from a dead stop he would have got the jump because of the AWD. So luckily the light turned green before we got there.

Well all in all I (well not that bad) a WRX tonight and I am smiling from ear to ear, because thats the car I have always wanted and I just beat it from a roll.

seems right 2 cars from 20-100mph i would say is accurate, do it from a stop and it would have probably been dead even to 100mph, but nice kill. Do you know what year wrx it was? the new ones should be dead even from a roll (06-07), but the older ones 02-05 are not as quick from a roll. If you ran from 20-mph the wrx was at a terrible speed, either the top of first or out of boost in 2nd, but either way nice kill.

it was the 02-05 model, yea i knew it would have been a great race from a dig, but from a roll i figured i could take him pretty easy.

Screw that the Ion wasn't racing... I usually pull like 15 cars on stage 8 cobb wrx's...

Pretty good, nothing really new with it, i got an intercooler hose kit that is supposed to help a touch and i put an STI hoodscoop on it cause im a ricer like that. Its riding on blizzax snow tires right now so its a blast to drive in the snow, but once the roads are dry it sucks ass, how have you been?
