Anybody race a Cobalt SS yet?

I quickly chatted with some kid that picked it up a few hours prior and was out with his mom. I've seen a few around and it's only a matter of time before i catch one at a light.

I cant wait. I hope he get wheel hop and screws it all up. Im waiting for Colin to find one here shortly. once he finds it I wil be informed and go hunting.

I haven't seen one yet. Seen a few of the Sedans but no coupes yet. Not even an LS.

I can't wait to find one though. I know they are on our side, but it still would be fun to beat one.

i work at weed chevy and just took ours out again, oddly enough it handles 1st gear better than ours, i dont get it..

it spins as opposed to our wheel hop, hopefully it is true we are lighter, and the 17s make a difference, but i still feel its a drivers race

Between the Cobalt and Redline, its a drivers race, and even then i still give the ups to the Cobalt.

I just saw an SS yesterday. He was playing around at the stoplight. Revving his engine and whatnot. I wouldn't race him though, I was in my s-10 with half a yard of crushed limestone in the bed! But I will keep my eyes open for him next time I am in the Ion.
