Blew it up racin a 298 whp SRT

[Blown 4-banger]

Went out to race a 298 whp SRT-4, a rematch from a few weeks ago. We raced twice from a 40 roll, I beat him by around 2-3 cars both times. The second race ended with most likely a ringland letting go or maybe a piston ring. Anywho it was fun until the motor went, but still I wooped the SRT

Very nice job. Too bad about the lil LSJ though. Time to build it up right and ya might as well add that TAG twinscrew on there while your at it That is........if they ever get it out.

lol... I posted that up on the srt crew site... they couldn't believe ya won...

long story but it's a fierce rivalry over here... and 2 yellow ones blew up racing srts... funny coincidence

What kind of so called mods did you really have?

well what i read on the shortbuss forum he has a ported blower and a 2.6" and he was running race gas so i'm guessing race gas plus a bad tune equals motor

Actually the tune was a very good tune. Not wild either, 20 degrees of timing, 11.8 AFR. When it let go the AFR was 11.8 and there was little or no knock, I might get a spike of .8-1 then it drops back to 0. I think I just over powered the pistons, there only good for 350 CRANK hp and I was prolly around 320 whp which is like 360 crank.
