I feel it was a fairly respectable death. We ran from 60 to about 135, he was 1 car ahead, and caught traffic. I maneuvered through it, but when he caught up to me, he asked me what I had done to it and he gave me props. It brightened my day

does it matter? Even the regular Vette would put xxxxxxx car lenghs on our cars. He was doing nothing but toying with you. It had to be hell of fun though. !!! Most people I see in Vettes are 100 years old and dont drive them.

I raced a C5 Z06 at the track, had him up to right before the 1/8 mile than he flew by me like i was standing still, i ran a 13.9@100mph to his 13.0@113mph, not my best run, but probably not his best either, a C5 Z06 should piss all over you from a roll, I have a wrx though so different cars but still a 113mph trap is way out of reach.

I don't know if he was toying with me or not, but I do know that it sounded pretty rapped out. It was a younger guy...maybe shifting prematurely, an idiot, etc. Anyhow, it was a lot of fun.

113 is what C5 z06's trap? Isn't that the same as the new 400hp C6? Are they about as quick as each other then? I seem to remember a video somewhere where a C5 z06 still whore's a C6 from a roll (both stock)

Not ture i will hand a c5 its ass,Never raced a Z06,execpt when i had cam's..but other then that a guy i work with has a c6 and we raced from a 40 and i had him till like 80-90 and then he passed me...
