how does a stage 2 redline compare to a mazdaspeed 3?

just stage 2 from GM intake the rest on the stuff in my sig................are the speed 3's faster? i think so but just asking for your opinions

Most likely, it will be an even run. I read somewhere they were supposed to have 260hp w/280tq. Not all that great considering its a 2.3 with 15lbs of boost. We make the same hp with less displacement at the same boost. Also I think I read somewhere that they are about 200lbs heavier than a RedLine. The ony thing that helps them out are those tq numbers, 280 is pretty nice. If its a flat tq curve like the srt-4 im not worried, but if its like ours and it climbs to a peak at top rpms, it might be a problem. I doubt it will be since most turbocharged cars i've seen like the srt-4 and vw golf have a flat tq curve, but still can't outrun us without as much hp as us.

stock mazda speed can run a mid 14.3 in the 1/4 so we are about equal if not alittle better
