played with a porche carrera

Well lets start this thread right, first of all while going to the liquor store I ran into a formula 1 at a red light. I thought that being that he was talking on the phone and an older gentleman that I would just fuck around and gun 1st gear. whoops he gunned it and by the next light(over an 1/8th mile) I was beat by a half a car lenght. So sucking up my pride I drove to the next light and low a porche carrera. well the light turned and he was behind a slower car and I did not think he was going to play till the lanes turned into three and boom he was gone no chance to even react. traffic slowed him down and I got next to him. I was rolling at 40mph in 2nd when he or she hit it all I can say is I kinda kept up with him. I dont know if he was playing or racing but he never got over a car length away from me. that was well over 2 miles of fucking around. granted I never took him but he never left me either. I dont want numbers on this thread so if so fuck off. This was real tv not Road and Track numbers. I know he could beat me but a $20,000 Saturn kept up with a $100,000 car, now that is a mastercard commercial.

HAHAHA this reminds me of this one thread on Svtperformance.com. This civic said he kept up with a ferarri *don't know if spelled right* and the whole time the ferarri was playing with him making him THINK he was keeping up.

That carrera was playing with you man. If he wanted to be forreal, he would of made you look like you were just sitting there. No way in the world your maxed out supercharged car would of beat that 605RWHP car. He was playing with you oh and BTW the car is $440k not $100k.

I don't think he was talking about a Carrera GT. If he were, then that car was probably just normally accelerating. There is a Carrera that is not slow but not the fastest, with a 0-60 in 5.0 secs (sorry to bring numbers) so his story is feasable.

Carrera is a beast, dude. There is a Porsche dealership near where I live, I took one one with my other car BMW 330ci, which has similar performance numbers as the Red Line, let's just say it was like a Red Line against a Toyota Echo, no contest.

I don't doubt that he played with him, nothing wrong with that. Had that Carrera put it down to the floor and intended on leaving your ass, he would have. Hey, at least he considered you quick enough to have some fun with! Good times....

some people like to play with ya i raced a viper in my old lancer he didn't even have to down shift to to rape me and then when he finally grew board with me from like an 80mph roll he droped it down a gear spun the tires and was out!!!

I love those people who drive those fast expensive cars that still like to play with you. Its fun as you are just gunning the hell outta it and they are just moseying along there way and then they wave and BAM! goodbye. They become jackasses when they slow down and let you start winning by a bit and then break the tires loose and their gone...it breaks your heart....lol.

I don't think the carrera guy was playing with him. The base carrera's aren't that fast. I beat one before. Pulled a good two to three cars on him when I let off to exit. I believe his story. Thumbs up to ya. Good kill.... This is what sport compact tuning is all about. Making people feel silly for paying extra for interiors and a name....
