07 Stock vs 78 Firebird

I was heading home the other night on a nice 3 lane road and I see flying up behind me this old muscle car. There is a couple of young kids driving it and they pull past and slow down pull past slow down. Knowing there are always cops in this road and plenty of traffic I just keep my speed. As we get closer to an are less frequented by the cops I've got a slow ass tercel in front of me and this kid starts to speed up so I don't get in front in his lane. We're going along at about 70km/h finally as his nose starts to pull in front of mine I dropped it to 3rd went from the middle to the left lane and just punched it. I could here the huge engine start guzzling and try to keep up but by the time I was in 5th doing 130km he was way behind.Never saw the poor kid again along the road.

It was a great rush. Can't wait till I actually make some modifications to my car.

130km/h is like 81mph.. y the heck would you be shifting into fifth at that point?? you should be in third at like 5-5.5k waiting for 6.5k to shift into 4th.. ur lucky that bird was a lug drivin by some snot nose kids.. else you would have been walked..
