06 Wrx-vs-05 Irl

this one was fun...

i was on my way home from picking up dinner (Pizza Hut ) when i roll up on this blue 06 WRX... at first i didnt think anything of it, then i get up next to him and see it was a younger kid with two of his friends in the car, i get "the look" from them and automaticaly knew what was going to happen next, i gave it a litte gas and passed em. a couple seconds later he comes from behind me full throttle and was about a car ahead by the time i downshifted to 2nd at 45mph. caught up to him, passed him, and then proceeded to put a few car lengths on him before i shut down... well i guess that wasnt enough for him so he got up next to me again at 60mph. punched it and got about a fender ahead before i stomped on it in 3rd and walked past him again and let off after i put a few car lengths on him.
Still not enough... he tries one more time like some magical force is going to make his car faster because the third times a charm right? Wrong! this time i hit it at the same time he did and didnt let up after a few lengths this time but stayed on it past 100mph (not sure how far past 100mph, i didnt look at the speedo untill i let off) watching him get smaller in the rearview.
he tried again but i felt i had proved my point and made my turn to go home... pretty fun stuff just thought it might be a little closer seeing that it was an 06 and all...

Colorado eh? That altitude and 91 octane is teh suc!

/lived in parker for 15 years My mom works at the OTC in the springs.

good kill. I have to admit, it's pretty annoying when they keep wanting to run and you keep continuously beating them. It's like they don't get it or something. lol

Whenever I crush a mustang, VW, honda, ect ect. they wont even pull up next to me, and if they have to (because of a stop light) they look straight ahead and dont budge at all. Guess one time being embarrassed by a saturn is enough for some?

Nice kill an 06 wrx only traps around 97mph and with 3 people in his car he really didn't have a chance looking at your mods, from a dig though he might have still taken you, good kill.

How do the 06 WRX's stack up against the MS6's? because they usualy get me about a car or a little more out fo the whole and by the time i hit third im pulling past them.

They are pretty even, but I would give the edge to the MS6, plus its a much nicer car. There is a guy on the wrx boards that ran a 13.5@99mph in a bone stock MS6, the fastest I have seen a bone stock 06-07 wrx run was a 13.7@98mph.
