5.7 GTO and S/C'd silverado SS

so i was on my way up north to see my wife for lunch when i pulled up next to a red 5.7 GTO at a light, from what i could see he had exhaust and it was lowerd and wingless, beautiful car... if i were to ever buy a GTO it would look like this one.
Well he was a buisness man in his 30's on his cell phone, he looked over at my car then hung up his phone.
Light goes green and through 1st we were dead even, 2nd gear he was at my 1/4 panel and by 80 in third i had about 2 cars on him... at first i was thinking "He let off" but about two lights later he pulls up next to me and rolls down his window and asks what i have done to the car... i told him i had just a CAI and pulley upgrade, he responeded with a thumbs up and told me i had a fast little car

That made my day

Then after leaving my house to go see my wife at her spike promotion we came across an S/C'd silverado SS (the new ones) he got a running start from a 70 roll about a car back, once he got to my rear bumper i punched it in third and pulled about 5 cars on him and held there... i slowed down about 110 and he kept going... sorry to say for him i had a 250lb passanger and the A/C was on

i raced and beat my buddies rsx type-s both completely stock and he told me he raced the 5.7 gto and hung with him. at least thats what he told me. he doesnt have any reason to make shit up. so i think the gto story is believable with a pulley upgrade and a cai fuh sho

Your friend is full of shit.
5.7 GTO's run low 13's and maybe a mid 13 on a bad day, a stock RSX-S can barely pull a 14.9.

This guy in the GTO does not know how to drive, or he is just half assin it cause those cars should trap 106-108 bone stock and RSX-S only traps around 94-96mph thats a huge difference.
