raced a neon last night

I raced this ghey looking neon (95ish style) Big wing primer gray and ceneter exit exhaust out of a hidious looking rear bumper. I look over at him at a light and I say " You want it with this?" He looks straight at the saturn badge on the fender and says what's it got.... I say more boost than a stock srt...maybe. ( I love saying maybe because people are like wtf.) After I said that his gf says don't do it. Light turns green and i come off idle and just put it to the floor. Roasted 1st shifted 2nd roasted 2nd and short shifted it, it was a very short race, but even with smoking the tires I put 2 on him, he rolled by just staring. F*cking ricers

or at least get traction to show him that you know how to drive. I bet his face was priceless though. I love seeing the look on peoples faces after they realize I drive a saturn.

God, don't say anything bad about a neon around here, you'll get blasted by everybody. Just happened to me & I didn't even say anything too bad. Just warning you guys, I guess there's some neon lovers here.

It's not about loving Neons. It's about understanding that we're all driving craptastic family cars with some extra bells and whistles. If we were all driving Ferarris and Lambos it'd be one thing but we don't. We drive cheap speed no matter how you slice it. ALL OF US... so the guy who got the Neon or the guy who got the Impreza is in no worse a shape quality wise then the guy who got an Ion.

Though this is a case or racing just cheap, no speed. Which hey, that works for some.
