Post 2 For 1, Mustangs

Hey guys, I'm new here. I was looking for more info on my new car, and stumbled here, and then found this thread so here's my story.

Btw, I'm driving a "Stock" 07 Saturn Ion Redline. I was cruising down 121, North of Dallas. And by cruising I mean weaving in and out of traffic at about 75. I come across these two mustangs hot rodding it against each other thinking there were all kick ass and everything. So I floored it and caught up with them and was able to line up at the next light with them. So there we were, three of us with a red mustang on the left, white one in the middle and me on the right in my black with red pinstripe Ion.

The light turned green and I took off the line, we were all dead even after about 2 car lengths, then I just laughed and let off the clutch and listened to my tires squeal as I suddenly took off and left them in the dust, it was great.

They spent the next 20 minutes trying to beat me and I just repeatedly waxed them. The red one beat me off the line once for about 1/2 a car length, but I just blew past him once I got myself back in gear.

I love this car.

Yeah I'm sure they were. Still, the looks I got from them was the best part.

Don't worry about the v8 either, the only 'mustang you really have to be scared of are 03 04 cobras. From a roll none of the gt's are out of your reach.

75 is not really fast. You won't ever be pulled over in Michigan for going that fast. Shit, you can push 80 and be pretty confident you won't get pulled over, everyone does 80 in MI.

The new mustangs will beat a stock RL from a roll or a dig, they trap over 100mph and run upper 13s stock, they are faster than a stock RL period. Mach I's are also faster.

nothing's better than putting the stereotypical mustang owner/driver in his/her place. i love it. even better when you do it in a procharged QC running only 6psi - then they really feel like douchebags...

nice kills.
