Race With Yamaha R6 - I HUNG!!

I raced a yamaha yzf r6 2005 the other night and held up to him untill i hit 3 gear and he hit second. Fairly close race....just thought i would drop that one in here.

ok what's par for course these days? 2 "good kill" or "nice showing" statements followed by 8-9 "He wasn't racing", "he must've been babying it", "are you sure it was a Yamaha?", "Bike World says this in their mag.....", "My huffy can smoke a schwin that smoked a yamaha...." OH and by the way, GOOD SHOWING Don't get discouraged by the negative posts by the narrowminded individuals on here. Keep representing and POST ON.

Maybe they should start a different section for people that just want to argue. That way they don't have to make up ludacris races to get a rise out of people. It's always the guys with like 3 posts that do this. Not that I doubt that your 14+ second redline hung with a 10 second bike or anything.

Are the r6's really 10 second bikes? That seems really fast. I thought that you basically needed a Hayabusa to run that fast. I don't know crap about bikes.

Hyabusa's aren't the quickest bike out there in the 1/4, the 02 ZX-12R is the quickest.. from my limited knowledge.

my GSXR 600 can run a 10.70 run down the quarter if you know what your doing...

If it's an 05, its a low 11 second bike, and that being said all the bikes before 05 were slightly slower. The 0-60 of an R6 is anywhere form 2.9-4.0 depending on the rider. So what PacificBlueRL05 ment to say was that he (or she) hung with the bike long enough to get a good view of the riders ass.

Sweet man! My buddy has, I believe, around a 97 ish cbr 600, he ran a 11.9 with it.
