Redline vs 03' Turbo Neon SXT

my friend in his redline calls me up to tell me about some guy who called him out with a neon, naturally i hop in my car to go check this out. My friend was told the neon was making 170+whp and that he should be able to beat the redline from a roll. To my surprise and from my vantage point, the poor neon suffered a beating of several cars. I ended up loosing the group so i made my way back and eventually found them to get the rest of the story. Apparently doors didnt come open before the excuses started flowing....clutch, boost leak, spike yadayada. The neon owner felt a bit better when my friend out of pitty told everyone it was only 1 car....which he and i both know it wasnt. At any rate it wasnt much of a race. Case and point...if you are gonna call out a redline atleast know wtf you are getting into specially if your car only traps 71mph in the 8th and you are challenging a 97-99mph 1/4 mile car. Doesnt take rocket science
