RL vs 05 mustang GT again

alright since last week i beat this person by about 2 cars from a dig, he went out and bought a "racing chip" i forgot what it was called but he said it was about $400. raced from a roll he i guess won but he did have a big running start. the second time from the roll it was equal. 3rd race we did from a dig door to door the whole time. so what ever chip he added made a big difference.

i do have the race from a dig on video but it didn't turn out to good, as you cant see much. im not even going to post the video unless someone really doesn't believe me. trust me when i say you cant see much.

i also have the race from the roll when he started way before i did i will have that up later with other videos from the night, or im going to wait till i have more races to put with it.

He bought a programmer with a canned tune for the Stang. They can make a huge difference especially if he did an intake at the same time ..

Just a tip - compress your vids with Virtual Dub with the Xvid codec. Drops it to 1/3 or 1/4 the size with no loss in quality.

yea, there are no chips for stangs... you have to buy a programmer, and usually an intake to go along with it...

and they are good for 30 hp too..

gotta love the new Camaro comming out.............bottom V6 is going to be 307HP... 7 HP more than the Mustang GT 4.6, with only a tad less torque. (and if Chevy is low on their actual number and it dynos more than the 260 the average GT puts out, the Pony guys might be in a heap of trouble)...
Challenger will have 380HP, Camaro SS will have 430. Mustang weighs less, but not enough to make up that difference.

LOL, what ever will Ford do now that their 4.6 is the basement of the Pony car crowd............................ECOBOOST v6? 5.4?
