GTP gets smacked around ......

Went to our local meeting spot friday night and got a race off w/a 01 gtp. After talking and giving everybody a minute to realize what a redline was(they acted as if it were a spaceship) , i agree'd to take 2 and the hit , the gtp had a cold air and a pulley , whitch in all reality should be a 13 sec car. Well i launched the car at idle and bogged it(avoiding wheel hop) snatched 2nd and realized i was out atleast 10 cars , flipped the hazards on , and shut 'er down. We met back up at the parking lot , and he payed me my 50.00 smackaroo's and made me re-pop the hood because they swear the car is built in someway. Needless to say i went back saturday and tonight and everyone is terrified of it Gotta love under estimation.

I hope that GTP isn't supposed to be one of the fastest cars in your area. If it is then you have some easy pickin's. Good kill.

My last car was a 1998 GTP and stock we would definately win (and I already have). But my GTP was modded with 2.25 pulley, K&N CAI and custome exhaust. Best time was 13.89 so until I get some mods done on my RL a modded GTP would beat my stock RL (at least until the GTP's 180klm limiter).

Nooooooo , theres definatly faster cars out there , i just stayed w/the slower cars.

Hell, I put 10 cars on other cars by the time I hit 2nd too, but only when their ignition is in the "off" position.

nice kill man. Was is the newer style grand prix's? If so those things are pretty slow, but if it was the older style those are a lot quicker.
