I was driving monday night home from the fireworks. I was enjoying my new power, PI intake and SCT tune i had got that day. So i am sitting in the turn lane to turn left, i am behind one car. There is 2 turn left lanes. The other lane is empty when this Acura Integra pulls up next to me, revs and then moves forward to the line. Now i look over and he has his friend in the passenger side and 2 girls in the back. They wave in the back, dont know what thats about so anyways i am like this thing looks bone stock except a fart muffler so i am sure i can take it. Now my car is prolly a mid 14 or maybe with good air a low 14 second car now with the mods but i am sure this is a 16.0 car. So that means i am ALOT faster plus my car sounds ALOT meaner then it is. Light turns green and i am still in the other lane with 1 car ahead of me but his window is down and when i go he can hear my car coming up behind him i am sure. Well soon as i get up next to him he turns left real quick into the empty mall parking lot that is closed..so i turn right which is towards my home. I figure he got scared or for some reason had to go that way. Well i pick up whatever i needed from home and head back out..and who do i see coming into my apt complex...the integra!! He must live back here or one of the people did but that means he turned off so he didnt have to lose in front of his friends after revving on me. Oh well..another time.

It's funny that import kids seem to think that all American muscle cars built later than 3 years ago are easy kills... nothing like a Mustang exhaust tone to give them a second thought!

Especially a Mustang with Flowmasters. Oh that is a killer sound.

Yeah but i wanna ditch those flows tho. I want the SLP loudmouth cat back My flows sound good at WOT but with the x pipe at part throttle its kinda tingy and i dont like it.

what type of teggy was it? I have known a couple guys personally who ran low 15's stock with there GSR's.

My buddy had the same exhaust setup on a 99 GT and he didn't like it either. He swapped the x-pipe for an h-pipe and it got rid of that tingy sound and it sounded beautiful. Something about the 4.6 and the flows that sound like music to my ears.

Get some Magnaflows. They put the Flowmaster's sound to shame on Mustangs.

It would be stupid of them to do it with a car full of people. That's irresponsible, regardless of if they egged him on. That and don't assume he was scared. He may have been going somewhere. The worst is when they run you from a light when you don't know, then at the next light, you go, but they don't, so you drop off, they let you shift early out of your band, THEN they go.... Pissed me off....... Let us know how much you cream him, but drive safe.

Well straight through resonators with the x pipe sound bad ass! Like the slp loudmouth. Thats what i want. Oh i dont know where he was going when he turned left, it was into the mall which was well closed And he couldnt gone far anywhere else cuz time i got back out in my car from my apt he was allready in the parking lot of the apt.
