hahaha when i first got my car my dad test drove it and everything with me in the back cause i didn't know stick at the time he was all pissed he's like its got a lot of power you don't need right now.
then on the way back home near DC on the interstate he starts hauling ass and he looks over and is like "i hope you don't pick up on the stick so i can have it" hahaha. can't wait to see him drive it when i get it where i want it to be

Yes was II MAW (2nd Marine Air Wing) out in Jacksonville, NC.

Now am with IV MAW statoined in Fort Worth with a C-130 unit.

My ground side training is limited to what I have to do once a year (qualify, go to the gas chamber ect) and Marine Combat Training out at Pendelton.

Mad respect here also for you boys and girls up there to our north.

those two unit epplets(sp) look deadly together HOOAH! thanks man. I am only 2 years in and go for my infantry course for the 2nd time next year, first year i failed my practical test on the M203 (grenade launcher) ;[ got all clusterfucked with stress on course and thats what happens. but im going back.

btw: i think some of our boys were down there (jacksonville. NC) a few years ago, and they fuckn loved the base. something like a whole town converted to urban ops. training.

Yeah the MOUT town on the Stone Bay Ranges down there. I remember seeing some cargo trucks and stuff rolling around down there a few years ago flying a combo of Canadian Flags and British Flags.

Lots of joint country training takes place there. I hated the area LOL. Humid year round smelled nasty all the time anything that didn't move down the road grew mildew on it. I'm glad to be out of there.
