How nasty are MS3's? Because....

I just lost to one by about 3/4 to 1 car length. My mods are in sig, and i had a 150 lb buddy in the car with me, and his car was just the driver. His mods are intake and Magnaflow catback. Hes a good friend of mine, so we finally raced tonite cuz i wanted to see how my tuned meth would treat me.

Anyway, are those cars suppose to be fairly sick? Is that a fair loss to me?

Yea they aren't too shabby. Trap over 100 stock and put down about 240whp.

Yeah, depending how high you guys raced to, I'm surprised you only lost by 3/4 a length...

They're not as good as the Cobalt SStc though...

So you think me losing by that much with a 150lb buddy in teh car is a fair loss to me? im not sure, thats why im asking. heres the picture:
started from a 40, we stayed DEAD even untill 70-80mph, then he pulled from 80 on, and i shut down.

One of my best friend's has one as well. On a 98* day down here with about 70% humidity, on an outside dyno with no fan, he put down 245whp/255wtq iirc. Intake and exhaust on those are supposed to net similar gains as they do on MS6's, which believe it or not is right around 30whp and similar torque. Jason smith on here when he got his MS6 made and intake and 3" catback and gained 32whp iirc, so it's not just a myth, it's somthing we've seen even on here. I'd say it's a fair loss.

^no i mean i by no means think my car is high and mighty. i just rarely race, and last year, for the longest time, my car wasnt running right and i didnt know it till i dynoed. so thats why i was just asking if it was a fair loss to me, or how much better/worse i should of done if my car isnt runing right again.
