Raced a 2000-body style Stang GT today . . .

I was hanging out with my friend Jessica today, and after I took her home, I got off the interstate to avoid the congestion there and took the semi-main road back. At one point it widens to 2 lanes at a light for about a half mile, then there's another light, and roughly a quarter mile past the second light it goes back to one. So I get stopped at the red, first car in line, and a black Mustang GT slides up next to me, gives me a look like, "Nice Saturn, buddy." So I give him a revv, and he points to the GT emblem in front of his door. I shrugged, and we waited for the green.

As soon as it turned, we both went for it, and both lost traction; I feathered it through first, hit about 6000 rpms, and then dropped it into second; just about this time he starts getting good traction, and my wheels start spinning. Shit! Sooo, I backed off the throttle for a split second, put it down, and BAM, hooked up, hit perfect boost, and pulled about a half car on him, until I shut it down at 55-60 (the speed limit), where he proceeded to do a flyby demonstration of "suck" to avoid running off the road. I rode his tail for a minute, and he gave me a thumbs up. Mustang, sort-of owned, draw your own conclusions, but I'd say it was a win for me, because I pulled on him.

i agree any amount of time that you are in front at the end of a race (doest have to have a certian distance) is a win. nice 1

Id say it was a good kill. Not something you said u obliterated like other redlines on the board. I bet he was suprised a little saturn did that. If it was raced again might been a different outcome..but good one
