GTP and GST

killed a GTP from a 40 roll in 3rd gear. took me a few seconds to get into boost, but when i did, it was over for the gtp. then the chick did a ricer fly by

raced a gst from a 40 roll in2nd gear, he only let me finish out 2nd gear before he let off, he was at my back bumper by that point.

yeah it was an eclipse gst fwd turbo, and a gran prix gtp.

emphasis on the "took me a few seconds to get into boost"

correct me if im wrong, but i dont recall a supercharger having any lag on it? unless you meant to get into the higher RPM range? but im reading that as if someone was saying "it took a couple seconds for the turbo lag, but when it spooled, i jumped all over him" kinda thing?

I'm not sure if its the bypass valve or what, but around 4K RPM you really feel a surge (which coincidentally is where peak torque is on the RPM range). Its quite a boost too. You even hear the supercharger wind out real loud. Below 4K for whatever reason the boost isn't as evident.......

Could have something to do with the Electronic throttle body...not going WOT until you hit 3500-4000 rpms to save gas or something like that.
