Arrow 8 Cylinder T-Bird vs RL

Pulled up to a light and my buddy knew this kid in a Tbird. he yelled over "let's race" and the kid in the tbird laughed and said "lets go". Need less to say the light turned green and we were off. Had some serious wheel hop for a good 30ft and then took off (ya i know buy the torque brace...i know i know). I had the tbird by 2 car lengths. Got off of it at about 100mph (considering it was a 45mph zone...hmmmm alittle fast) and let him pass by me. First kill......go me

Well, the kid that was in my passenger seat has a T-Brid Tubro Coupe that he just put a new rear in. I'm gonna go at with him (T-Bird 4-Cylinder Turbo Chargered) so that should be a pretty close race...i'll throw a W/L on here after it happens

I used to have an 1988 Turbo T-bird. It has the 2.3 4cylinder in it. Puts out 190hp and 210lbs. The car is way too heavy for the engine and it only manages low 16s. I remember reading a few reviews one ran a 16.4 the other ran a 16.3. When my car was bone stock with 135k miles on it, i managed a 16.3@88mph. If the car is an auto it only has 150hp, not sure of the torque but its dirt slow. You will win either way. The super coupe came out in the early 90s and i believe they ran 15.7 or so, they could put up a really good fight against the early 90s mustangs, but were still a touch slower.
