svt focus owned

I pulled onto the street from my bank and i saw this little blue focus svt. I pulled out over some solid white lines. Well when i pulled up next to this focus he looks over at at me. I was ready to punch it when i see this light bar fly up on my ass. He came right after me so I think i might had made a illegal lane change. The focus driver starts out fast and as we make the turn I guess he didn't see the cop. He took off got to about 60 i would say in a 45 and the cop that was on my ass flies around me and chased that focus down. If I didn't see him I might be in some big trouble with the cops LOL

Lucky you caught that. The police have gotten sneaky around here. They have a denali and a chevy silverado, unmarked, and no noticable antennas, lights burried behind the grill. When you look at them from the side they look like a stock vehicle. I saw one giving a ticket the other night coming back from carson. That sucks to get a ticket like that.

The svt aren't fast compared to our cars but it's decent in the n/a catagory. Plus it wasn't really a kill. It was a pre kill but the cop beat me to it!

the only SVT owners that get offended are morons. the SVTF was the top car during it's design but ford just let all the other companies take the ball with forced induction and run with it. i love mine just as much even after the STi purchase.

on the other hand, cosworth and getrag did a number to that car - having a stock engine/tranny powerful enough to safely run a 19psi turbo with no detonation putting down numbers like this:

is hard to argue with. I don't know many cars that can have their tq/hp to the wheels more than doubled without a heavy rebuild

I know. I owned one and the RL just doesn't feel as nimble as the SVTF did. It always oversteered before I felt any understeer.

my svtf kicks the shit out of the sti in corners it kind of makes me want to throw a turbo on it and make it a dedicated road race car while keeping the STi for my daily driver (i can't justify a FWD car in michigan winters as a daily driver)

on that note i can't wait for subaru's redesign for the new wrc spec and im keeping my fingers crossed they swap to a hatchback along with better chassis with less flex. i'm only doing a two year lease on my current so that when they drop that new model i can pick it up if i like it, if not then buyout the 05 and get to work on modding
