Srt-4 beat me?

For months now i've been wanting to run one of these things and i figured with the mods i've done id be able to pull a little on a stock one. I was talkin to Jason (I PISS ON YOU) after work about his recent kills (Vette and Steve (Digitronical)) The vette story i thought was hilarious. Anyway, out of the movie theatre we see an Srt and a Mustang GT start revving at us from across the street. I hop in my by then warmed up ION Redline and wait for the Srt to pull out. We get up along side Olive at 40 mph and start honking to three. The first honk he actually floored it and then quickly realized his mistake and by the third honk we were even again and gunned it. We went up to about 80-90 where he beat me by 3/4-1 car length I was mad. We slowed down and after just playing around for a little while i asked him what he had, i was expecting some sort of exhaust or stage 1, the car sounded like it had something done. He said "stock". W/e. One good thing about it is that he only pulled from about 50 mph - 70 before that we were even and after that i started gaining ground. I guess his turbo had kicked in while he was in second gear at that time. It was red with black racing stripes

40mph is the SRT-4s sweet spot.

Nice death. You'll do better as you mod more. I see you really only have 2 mods right now. Keep addin and I'm sure the outcome might be different,happy hunting.

Yah thanks. I wish i had the funds to get the TOG header and the pulley kit, i think those four mods, and ur looking at a pretty fast car. But i'm saving up for a 600cc bike which would blow the doors off a stock Srt-4 all day

When my Eblue 2004 SRT was stock it was running 14.1's@99mph at my high altitude.

you may not be shifting to the cars full potential (you may think you are)

How long did you let it warm up for? If it wasn't fully warm, you might be running slower...

well remember, its my first bike, that katana 600 deal fell through, the guy was offered 3000 for it, no way was i gonna pay that much for that thing. I dunno what ill be getting, some 600cc bike most likely pre-2000 and yah my car was plenty warm, i always warm it up first. Until its fully warmed up i dont shift beyond 2000 rpms.
