srt-4 scared me or I scared him!

I'm cruzing up lambert which is a straight shot through 4 cities. I pull behind a scion tc. I thought oh well I'll sneak up on him. I slowly leave the line shifting at 2000 so you can't hear the bov. I hear him reving up and pulling pretty quickly,I'm still hanging back and just giving him space. I guess he thought I was trying to keep up with him but I just couldn't so he thought. I finally creep behind him about a car back and he noticed me and started to take off again. I guess I maybe shifter to high and he heard it (pssht) the light ahead is yellow and about to turn red and I'm like ok I'm just going to smoke him .Well I guess he thought twice and took a right so from the left lane I made a right too. The thing is he slows down and I pace him then I'm gone.The light turns red up ahead and again we actually line up. Light turns I smoke em and I'm gone. I guess he gave up as soon as my tires turned to smoke cause he was about 2 cars before I got aoutta first. I keep cruzin and guess it's a scion club night cause another one pulles up next to me trying to pass me. That didn't work cause I mashed on him too. Here comes the weird part. From the light I hear my (pssht)..Pssht)I was wait a minute?? Who should I see in my rear view but a srt-4 blowing off too. I was ok here we go possible my first loss. We both turn and he is bringing up the rear.We are not racing mind you just cruzin. I'm kinda waitng for him to make a move, and here it comes. He moves right next to me and I'm about to punch it and....... He turns off?!?!?! I'm like ok what's up with that? I can only think of two things that might have happen. He heard my bov and my car looking like a gs not a gs-t he might of thought I put some money into my car and didn't want to risk it or he just smokes gts's all night and didn't want to bother.

Katrina was the best thing that could've happened for the oil companies. They've been wanting to raise prices but cound'nt justify the increase, and now they can. So get used to it because the price is'nt going to go down.
