But i have run Curious George's car and i lost but i knew that would be the outcome(was at his rear bumper till I hit 4th) but you never know what this 2.7 V6 engine might be capable of we had naysayers from day one over on the New Tib board saying the bottom end will explode at 200 whp but we proved the wrong we've got a tib up to 315 whp stock bottom end 12lbs of boost on the alpine kit with 10:1 compression ratio. But with the Turbo Kit that's coming out From Next Generation Motorsports at 5lbs we make 235-250 whp with just 5lbs from the turbo. By no means am i a troll, I love the Redline and what it's capable of hell i showed George the damn car he'd never heard of it before. But, oh well I can only hope that Hyundai will improve the HP in the next gen Tiburons(we've heard good things RWD with a 3.3 V6 for 07) I love my Tib the way it looks and sounds i just wish it had more go(but that's easily fixed,N/A is fun but after all F/I is the only way to truly fly).
The Tibs are sharp looking - hopefully soon they will bet more UMPH

Well, you gotta give Hyundai some time, hell, they were making forklifts 10 years ago... not like Saturn headed by GM.

just to let you know... i am gq1081's brother...

i have an 04 gtv6. the tib is a great car for the money.. no where near the redline as far as performance. as far as looks goes,.. hyundai finally got it right with this car. without sounding like an old man, the car rides incredibly on the highway. it is heavy, thus i call the car "the bloated fish", and the numbers the delta v6 makes are pitiful. stock is somewhere around 150-160. not sure about torque. they are a ton of money to get any real hp out of. somthing like 3 large for an alpine stage1 supercharger, which gets you about 70(????) hp.

the tiburon has a decent aftermarket as well. it sucks because most parts have to come out of korea. looking at anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks shipping. not to mension the cost of said shipping. there is a company in florida developing a twin turbo kit for the delta. all the boost junkies on nt.com are drooling with anticipation. the only problem is the fact that the car has little diversity for parts. some things you can only get from one manufacturer. if you have any questions about the car just pm gq1081. he will answer. or just look for me on nt.com. my user id is landshark1.
