Talking RL says bye bye to Tib GT and Civic SI

So Im leaving work and my bud with his 03 tib GTv6 and his "SUPER" AEM cold air intake does a rolling 30 from the 3rd honk, needless to say i was at 2900 and ready to dip into some power, by the end of second i had already gained a car on him. I leave post and find myself getting on to I25 via an onramp when this not nice lady in a 99 civic SI complete with baby shooter starts riding this trucks ass in front of me, trying to get her some ricer glamour shots in, Im sittin in 3rd at about 3200 just waiting, and the lanes open up, by the time i hit 70 she was scrambling to switch lanes other wise i would have found her playtoys in the trunk, she gave me a look like, "Ummm,a saturn.....pfff" by the time that expression wore off i was at 105 and couldnt tell her headlights from the truck. This was all on the way to check out a used 04 SRT4 wit 15k for 18k, which brings me to the point, turbo is way different than blown power, wow. I might be switchin over tomorrow, any comments or suggestions would be insightful.

So, you're thinking of trading in your '04/'05 Redline for an '04 SRT? That's gotta be expensive... comments? Well, most of us choose the Redline...

Ding ding ding. That was a big selling point in favor for the RL for me. The Red Line is a lot cheaper than most cars in it's sales segment (it's a Saturn..come on). I would also be wary of buying a used SRT because of abuse. Let us know how bad you're going to get raped on trade in. With all that said, do what makes you happy.

We should find out about the upgrades at/after the Sema show Nov. 1-4. I'm sure one of the lucky bastards that go to the show will get info up on the first day for us.

Cobalt SS $158/mo
SRT4 $342/mo...
