ok well, let me say this, i raced my friend in his golf before he had any mods done and pulled him by like 2 cars or more. Then the next week he comes calling again this time with a GIAC chip good for 25 h.p. EASILY and a forged diverter valve good for ...???? lol but anyways we raced first from a 30 roll, and let me say this, i had a guy with me and he one with him both recording each other... well anyways i pulled a little on him his front bumper was at my front wheel and we SATYED SIDE BY SIDE TILL 140 M.P.H went through every gear trying to make some kind of pull on himand to no prevail it was the most amazing race i have ever SEEN much lesss participated in. Next we did a couple from a dead stop, and AGAIN THE SAME RESULTS, i got him a little at take off, but he spooled right up next me and again we proceded to have the best race ever, although i must say I HONESTLY CAN NOT TELL WHO WON! it was that close!! but bad news, he has a cold air installed now, and a big turbo upgrade coming very soon....ohh well have fun while you still can huh?

So get an intake and a Psi-Fi kit.

That turbo upgrade will be a BIG performance boost.

One of my good friends has a 1.8T GTI with an APR reflashed ECU, and T3/T4 turbo upgrade, front mounted intercooler, CAI, 3" Exhaust, and quite a few other things that I can't think of off the top of my head.

Anyway, that car pushes around 30PSI of boost, and spools up REAL quick. I can hang through first and second, but as soon as we hit third he starts walking away pretty bad.

He hasn't dyno'd the car since he did the upgrades, but I would suspect he's up around 300 to the wheels, possibly more.

There aren't any of our nemesis SRT-4's around this area that can hang with that little thing.
