Arrow Putnam Park Raceway!

Well yesterday since it was nice out my dad and I and one of the associate docs he works with decided to get some lap time in. All runs were done on the long course with the loop! The cars were as follows.

Car #1 Dodge Viper GTS(My dad)
Car #2 Porsche Bxster S( our friend)
Car #3 Saturn Ion Redline(me)

We had a blast, and I was really impressed with how well the Redline kept up especially with the addition of Rice Eaters strut bar! I did really well keeping up with the Boxster and was on his ass most of the time. We were able to keep up with my pops in the Viper fairly well in the turns but he smoked us in the straights which was to be expected. Our best lap times were as follows!

#1 Viper GTS (my dad) 1minute 27 seconds
#2 Porsche Boxster S (friend) 1minute 38 seconds
#3 Saturn Ion Redline (me) 1minute 41 seconds

BTW here is a link to Putnam Parks site http://www.putnampark.com/

hmmm... willing to race a Viper... and a Porshe... but not my SRT? Not even when we were cruising around for the purpose of having a few runs against eachother?

If you look righ there on there website its states that they are open during the winter mkonths for testing/tunning. All you have to do is call and reserve the track! We were able to run on the track because we were invited by a patient of my dads! He works for Diasio which develops and tunes there track cars at Puntnam Park! He even tried to convince my dad to buy one! BTW fflores next time we all meet up I will make it a point to race you okay! Which SRT were you?

BTW I also got to do afew laps in the Viper and I did all right except for the one spin I had going into the hairpin! I also got to take a few laps in a Diasio 962. Holy shit that thing was fast and it cornered like it was on rails!

Also fflores I think on a road track that I could beat you fairly easily( No offense). Ive had lots of road course experience plus the IRL has a way better suspension setup than the SRT!

Hmm... Interesting... so many things are better in u'r IRL... yet you were the only one not to run someone that night... and now u want to be mister "name a place blah blah blah".. we had a place.. and we had a time... i guess you were too busy thinking about what excuse you could use that night to notice that i paced you and waited for you to hit it... along with the blue srt at another point in the cruise... i was the one shooting the fire balls....

With such braud remarks like "i can beat you fairly easily"... what makes you think that? I'm not a Road Racer, but i do AutoX... i'm sure there will be a event that we can agree to go head to head on... myself, along with a few other people that i know what would love to see how you can beat us "fairly easily"... as for u'r suspension in the IRL being better to a SRT... from what i have seen... they aren't all that different, and not leaps and bounds better for you to claim "fairly anything"... as for me specifically... kid... you don't know what u'r talking about... 36-way CO's enroute, Sways, Brakes, 15lbs rims enroute, hopefully wrapped in Fallkens or Advans. So u might as well keep to u'r e-stories, at least that way u only get embrassed online.
