Skittle huntin'...

Yeah, not really. Actually, I just happened to be getting onto interstate 65, for you Iowa folk, and this SRT-4 just happened to be going past me as I'm getting on. Now at first, I thought that it was an SRT look alike because I didn't see any exaust, at all. Well, I hurry and catch up to him to make fun of this "poser" and just blow him away. It turns out he had side exaust, therefore, I couldn't see it from the rear. Anyway, I pull up to him and he's ready to go. We slow down to 40 and I honk the standard three times and we take off. Well, I was a little excited so I missed third, very stuiped. So, I catch back up to him and this time we have to go from 50 because there is a truck right on our ass. Again, I honk three times and he gets a jump on me because last time I jumped a little early on him. By the end of second, I'm even maybe a little ahead of him. I hit third, and for the first few seconds I pull on him to get a 1/3 car advantage. Well, he gets going and gets nearly even with me by the end of third. Fourth gear. I conitnue to pull on him, but very slowly. We ended up somewhere around 120-125, kinda hard to pay attention to some of the smaller details in a good race such as this. In the end, I had beaten him by 1/2 of a car length. It was by far the best race I've ever had. We ended up pulling over to talk and he said that he had of course the exaust and an intake, good guy by the way, not a dick by any means which I really appreciated. I was just happy to not lose! By the way, I'm completly stock so it felt that much better!

Nice Kill! I happened to run into one earlier today too, but there was too much traffic to race very much. It was a nice clean red skittle with dark window tint, so I couldn't see the driver, but I think it just might have maybe been a chick. We were heading over a bridge and they noticed me beside them checking them out, then they slowed down and let the traffic clear from in front of us. I was waiting for the 3 honk, but instead they just took off. I was already down in 2nd gear and I went WOT as well. We stayed pretty much even for a short spurt, but by the time I got into 3rd, there was too much traffic and nowhere to run safely. They turned off and I think wanted me to follow and continue the fun, but I was busy, and had much more important things to do than getting my liscense revoked! It was still fun though, as I was anticipating the run when we slowed down over the bridge, I was so excited with adrenaline rush that my feet were shaking and trembling! I wish I had more time to go play at the time.
