Visual/Performance Question

HiYa! When we met up at the meet @ rice and mammas I noticed almost everyone had mods to the grill of they're redlines. I really liked how everyones was different and am thinking about doing it myself. One thing though is I wanted to get some performance out of it by just deleting the black inserts where the second set of lights usually go on the comp package redlines (fog lights) which would have been awesome to have or if I had the k and n mod it like rice to have the intake in the front which is awesome. But the real question is: If I delete the plastic black panels on the front to give it move RAM AIR, would it affect my weapon r intake say like if it would rain? I really know what you were saying before mamma about how rocks and stuff can fly up from the tires of other cars and hit the coolant system, but other than that if I do this would it hurt anything else?

thats the grill that I have, a lot of people on here say it looks like crap and that it won't last long, I have had mine for about a year now, and as long as you clean it when you wash your car it will look just fine. really easy install too.

OK didn't read it all, not the first time either. Ummmmmm ok lets see here hmm.... If you want to do that I suggest getting the K&N bag that covers the filter from any rain getting in there. Also I can probably work something out on the other thing if you are coming over by me any time soon.

hmmm

well after the off roading experience I had this weekend really the only damnage it did was ripping off my inside fender well which obviously sucks and the dealer quoted me 1500 to fix the entire thing bc they wanted to get a new front bumper due to some under cracks and bc basicly they would have to paint it too and stuff + the labor prob. is huge too... but I don't have that amount of money to spend + it REALLY I promise doesn't look that freaken bad... I actually like that it looks like it has some battle scars (yeah freakn right damnit!) hahah... .. . damnit. But omega nice find on the grill and at leaste someone here has it too but I don't know if I should do it now that I got some cracks in there. gotta hang this summah sucka.
