domestic vs import on june 3rd.

Ok here it is. time to represent the domestic's.
On june 3rd, there will be a contest held in Anderson just north of indy. 60 imports and 60 domestics will go head to head in 6 events. autox, drag, 0 to 60, 100 to 0 brake test, 600ft sloume (sp) and skid pad. the top 5 of each will head off in a mystery event.
This is a charity for the Rileys kids foundation. it will be a deposit of $100 that you get back when you show up. they do ask for donations though.
You can get more info, and sign up at www.wingedwarrior.net
I would like to see a strong showing since they are having a hard time finding domestics that will perform with the likes of evo's and sti's. I will also post this over on the srt4 forum.
they expect 10,000 people to attend this event. so have your car in show condition, as you are required to show it inbetween events.

haha, it was just my gut reaction to how to compete with souped evo's and rex's and 350z's. talons are imports in most peoples books i was just trying to be funny, cause they can be really fast for really cheap, and they are only domestic on a technicality. seriously, though, why post on srt4 boards? post on srt-10 boards and zo6 boards.

Maybe I will next year. I wouldn't mind it this year, but I'd rather have more stuff done before.

come on guys, this is our chance to show the outside world what our cars are. as for the the vette and viper, I beat them by 2to3 seconds in autox. I figure we have a good chance in the autox, the 100 to 0 braking, the 600ft sloulm(sp) and the skidpad. thats 4 out of 6 that we could get. and depending on how they score it the 0 to 60 and drag might not go that bad.
even if we don't take 1 event, it would still be cool, and we would be supporting the charity.
