Scotty vs. The Shaolin: Round 1.

Platteville WI / Earlville, IA

Come out for a day at the track, and watch two of North's DOHC 2nd gen SC tuners duke it out!

In this corner, we have Scott with his '98 "white hot" SC2 with nitrous, aggressive cams, aftermarket fuel tuning, and other goodies! In the other corner, we have Nathan (Shaolin) with his '00 red SC1 converted to SC2 with a high compression DOHC, also with plenty of extra goodies!

While the meet will be based in Platteville, WI, Nathan's hometown, the racing will happen at the Tri-State Raceway in Earlville, Iowa. It's a test & tune day, which means that anyone can get involved with the racing. With enough people, we'll set up a mini-tournament! Not into track stuff? There will surely be plenty of other antics to keep everyone having a great time!

Currently we have 17 people planning to be at the meet, and all are welcome! Come check it out!

I'm looking into making it for the event at the track, but not in Platteville. I have a place to stay in Iowa City and need to visit my buddy there anyway...

Hmmmm.... this could be interesting... that's the week after my last course race... I think this is the one bc3tech was talking about as well...

We'll try to keep you posted once we figure out the whens & wheres of meeting at the track - most of the SPOC-North people are meeting in Platteville, WI at a member's place before going to the track.

Shabadoh, sp00ner - if you guys go, do you plan to race?

BTW, we're up to 23 people (10 definately, 13 maybe), including you two as maybes.
