Milan wednesday (9/13/06)

Well, Joe (handyjoe) and I are heading out to the track wednesday to see what our new setups can do. Anyone else in the area want to go? We're heading up there around 5ish. Either post up here, or just show up!

Hmmmm...I'm in Ann Arbor, so that's only 20 minutes from me. I'm REALLY interested to see how good and fast these setups are, as well as what the HP Tuners software is all about. Is this just a Test n Tune, and how much is it for spectators?

My last class ends at 5, are you guys leaving the Flint area around 5, or planning to get there around 5? Maybe I'll show up...

Yeah, its just a test n tune, $20 for drivers, $12 for spectators. We'll be showing up there around 5. I may get there a little early, because I'll have nothing better to do after work, and I'll get all teched in and whatnot so I can run by the time Brian gets there with a helmet for me.

Go here http://www.explosm.net/comics/archive/ for these specific daily archive. Just click on a day and start going through them next by next. There's some good, some that are just like whatever, and then some like the one in my sig that are so wrong but oh so good.

If I can remember on Wednesday, then I'll most likely be there around 5:30-6. And for the $8 more, I mine as well make a few runs. I'm bone stock and have only run on the strip once before, for like 3 runs, so I mine as well have a little more fun.

So uh, are you guys still planning on going tomorrow, even if it's wet & raining like this? I don't think Milan keeps its gates open if it's raining like it's supposed to tomorrow. Before you leave tomorrow, you should probably call ahead to see if they're open (if it's raining). If it's dry, I'll head out there after my classes.

The rain is holding up now, let's hope it stays like this down here.

Do either of you guys have a video camera? It'd be cool to tape you guys getting into the mid/low 13s today. All I have is the crappy video camera on my cell, which I'm going to use anyway. Sucks that it only records in 15 second increments though.

I'll have my camcorder, and my digi, so hopefully some good shots will happen.

If it doesn't I'll be pissed, I don't want to get rained out two weekends in a row.

Courtney is going, and she will be 'manning' my camera. It has a 20gb HDD, so I don't think we will be limited by film time
