Eh? Al is almost always there now. He called one Sport Compact day in August when he was NOT there. Told the people working to make sure it lasted until at least 3:00 and to run time trials longer if needed.

Prep on Sport Compact Days is better than it used to be. Don't be so quick to blame it all on the prep though, it's the cleanliness of the cars that are there and the tires that are on those cars. Street tires are still street tires. Dirt and sand falling off 15 second cars doesn't do any good for quicker cars no matter where you race. I had no problems last time out, slicks hooked up just fine, whole handful of 1.9 60' times going 14.0@100.

Got back from the track. My best was 14.3 1/4 - 60' 2.36 and Trap was 100.61 not bad for stock tires- Not bad for my first time to the track. The only down side to The Rock on sportcompact day was all the cars You were lucky to get a run in under a hour. I guess the day to go is Fun Day or something like that. Its a little more and there is a wide variety of cars not just the Honda scene. My average of the day was 14.7 not that great but I was still trapping over 98mph.

I really need to work on my 60'

That was not a normal Sport Compact morning. I can usually get 5-7 time trials before Noon. I've gotten as many as 13 time trials plus eliminations. Get there early, get in the lanes as soon as they call before 9 and hot lap it, you'll get passes in.

A Fun Day will have more cars, less FWD, more down time for broken cars. I'm planning to go on the 22nd for one last beat.

13.74, new best with this engine.

Hey, not bad, Draxxus.

I meant to get out there, but I ended up working 24 hours straight from Thurs-Fri, and then another 10 hours Friday night, and was in no shape to get out there.

Uh. That's it. Definitely need to get to one of the NW meets soon.
