Indy CF rally hood

well I am going to get a local race shop involved, it doesn't look like we can get anyone involved enough in this. I am going to talk to them about building a functional rally hood that retains the factory mounts and emblem. When I get numbers together I will let every one know how much it would cost to buy in to get a hood. I only know of three local guys so the first numbers will be for three hoods and partial buyin for the mold, as more people buy the cost will go down I will not make the profit so I will not commit to anything other than access to the mold for www.redlineforums.com members, again if I can get it built for a resonable cost at 3hoods.

I need two other guys at least to go in with me, I will try to get numbers together as soon as possible. Matt I know your in!!! and I need one other guy that is as reliable. This will not be a 'cheap' hood. This shop makes race cars.

Another note, you should really want this hood before you make the list. My estimate is about $700-$1200 per hood. I have yet to talk with the shop so think upper end before you tell me you want in on the buy. Again real numbers after I talk to the shop. So tell me who you are and what your upper end for cost would be and where you are shipping might be hard, then I will start working the numbers to get as many Rally hoods as possible made at the lowest price.

OKay, I talked to the shop, and they are in (since the racing season is over) but I need some pictures of the rally hood to email to them so that they can start to get an Idea of how much this is going to cost. Any one have a couple VERY CLEAR NICE pictures of it? The ones I have are all fuzzy.

Thebest part of the whole deal is after the mold is done I can make as many hoods as people want to buy. Once again admin type people I am not trying to make a profit here, I will sell these at my cost only to provide the part to those that want the rally hood.

Again I am no garantees, if they say $5,000 for the mold I am out

I am going to email those to the shop tonight, and include a stock pic as well.

I am going after a stock mount with the emblem and the ducts that are in the rally hood.

Next is just how much $$ my "friends" are going to want from me to do this.

I may see if I can get the to make a plug for the mold so that I can build hoods both ways, with or withour emblems.
