Out here in IL our rock station got shut down and taken over by and oldies station (50's music). I started an online petition to bring back the station. When I receive enough signatures im going to send it to people that I know personally that worked for the station and also the City Of Chicago. Please help us out. Spread the word to your friends so we can bring it back

They did the same thing here in south fl but replace oldies, in your situation, with spanish and boy were we all pissed but whatever you do isnt going to change thier minds. They do studies and crap on this and they know they're right and dont care what everyone thinks. Sorry just the way it is

Out state leadership dosen't lead the state. The mayor of Chicago does, and if he reads these forums, you're gonna end up with concrete boots!

I'm sure he reads them though, he hires the same corporate spies that GM does...

Kevin, just go to the site & sign the petition whether you like metal or not, we're going nuts up here with another oldies station that we DON"T need. And Daley is no where near as smart as his daddy was.

Same thing here but replaced the Alt. Rock station with Spanish/Hispanic/Latino stuff. And they literally flipped the switch mid-day. There was no notice, no warning, nothing. It was a huge deal and was all over the news. With the crowd that listened to the previous format, I'm surprised the office is still standing....
