MWRLA members and wannabes..read this

Alright guys..this is what I'm going to need from you. Name and size of shirt that you wear (t-shirt..just give me a general size) because I'll be ordering these hopefully soon enough. This means it's getting time to become 100% official and means our measly yearly dues will be needed..I've thought long and hard about this and have pretty much decided that first year dues'll be pretty much just to cover the cost of the shirt and something extra special for you guys later on (I already have this planned ) and as we all know Scott (Ender) is our money man..so I'll be discussing all of this with him in the next few weeks.

I know some of you already know that we're planning a 'regional' type of meeting in St. Louis with Dan's help and we'll be doing a signup for that as well just to find out who all will be going and to get an EXACT number (we'll need that number for Dan) so that we can get everything organized. Our good friend down there promises us plenty of fun and entertainment for the meet and I'm sure we won't be let down.

I'm going to be visiting some places along with Scott (even though he doesn't know it yet) to discuss the possiblities of getting an LSJ (or RL) track day setup at one of the road courses or possibly just organizing a drag day for us.

I really need to get off my lazy ass and start the website too..I'm going to need pictures of everyone's cars for it and I'm not going to put a member's forum on there because we are/will be associated with RedlineForums.com officially and I've already obtained Ekool's permission for this. What we will have though is event announcements, event pictures, club details, contact information for the officers, members and their cars, modifications list and where to obtain them, and a few other things.

For those of us who plan on keeping their RL's for more than one year (and I know some of you already have) but also plan on staying in the club I'm looking at getting us year pins made to show how long we've been in..a good idea as I just recieved my 2-year ABATE pin.

I'm also going to be getting with my good buddy again (Scott if you haven't figured it out yet) and we're going to pay some visits to a few places about possibly getting us some deals on parts such as tires. It WILL pay to be a member

I'd also, at this time, like to thank Rice Eater and his wife for allowing me to hang out at their house yesterday and for his technical knowledge and allowing me to be a lazy, injured bastard while he did all the work that I could've and was more than able to help with..just didn't. I do have the pictures from that also..I'll get them hosted tomorrow after I get off of work more than likey. I would also like to point out that I'm going on the record as saying I support Torque Forward in their efforts on making our cars better and look forward to any product they put out for the LSJ and the RL.

Matt

Matt I am as always in. When I collect everyones dues I will be setting up the club account at the bank and get all the legal mombo jumbo done with that. I do know a lot of people in the racing community here, and if I don't my buddy and his shop due, I can even have a certified driving instructor on hand to give everyone the "drivers mod". We need to get together this weekend, maybe sunday?? Call me late tommorrow I am having surgery and will be home all day.

On another note I have been emailing places like crazy....we have lots to organize and talk about.

Ya, sounds good to me!

Now that I'm here in Cincinnati, it'd be nice to find some other people to chill with from time to time.

Don't worry about jacking the thread..Sp00ner and I already semi-jacked it. I'll give you some information in the next few days about the site and kinda what I want the layout to be..if you have any suggestions that might make it better feel free to interject your opinons. I guess I should've made this clear..what I need is for you to PM me your shirt size..First year dues I'm looking to be around $15-20 just to cover these shirts and a few other things..after that most things will be free (like the monthly meetings, random duel events, and the regional meet minus the shirt for that one..track days and what not will cost, but we're hoping to get a relief on the costs). I'll even clear out my messages so that I can have more than the 6 messages I have left.
