Fyi, just because I left Ion/Ion RL out of my signature doesnt mean we are not dedicated to the RL. As Ive stated before, we are stocking the products, and we are working on a lot of products for the Ion/Cobalt. I know that the Ion owners out there feel a little left out at times, but the aftermarket is taking notice, and MP is dedicated to helping you out as well.
Please dont take my comments the wrong way, I was not at all trying to be a dick. I just find it to be funny how us Saturn drivers always seem to be the red headed step childern when it come to aftermarket parts. There is already Cobalt SS stuff out and the car is barely even in showrooms.

I understand how you feel.
The first car I ever really started to modify performance wise was a 1997 Neon. Back then, there were very few parts out for it, and any company I talked to about making parts for my 97 Neon would make a negative comment on the car, or make me feel like I was wasting my time. Thats why Modern Performance was started. We decided that if others wouldnt take our car seriously, and if the whole American four cylinder market was being neglected, someone should step up to the plate. This year is our 8th year in business and we have more custom made products than ever that are not available anywhere else. We export parts worldwide, and we love being able to help other enthusiasts.

What can Ion and Ion redline owners do to encourage more parts for their cars ? Well, first, let manufacturers know that you want parts for your car by email or phone. When parts do come out, dont try to shoot the products down, show some faith and purchase the products that come out and show manufacturers that theres a market for your car !

(sorry for the long rambling post)

Anyways, as promised, we will be making custom parts, and carrying parts from other manufacturers for the Ion/Ion Rl and hope to have your support !

There is nothing out there for the Cobalt SS, trust me I have looked. We don't have a single Cold Air intake.

Thats why I am a member here, to get ideas and info regarding my cobalt. I figured the older step children might have some insight.

I'm pretty sure K&N will have theirs out pretty soon, I saw that they were looking for a Cobalt tester, my guess is it has to be pretty similar to the Redline...

Its similar (in terms of location of filter, throttle body location and mass air flow sensor location) but far enough different that K&N has to make a completely different intake for the Cobalt and cant reuse any of the components from the Ion Redline intake.
