is that $5 for one bulb, or is that like a set? .....I'm assuming that's just for the 1 bulb, but never hurts to ask.....any chance on getting a discount price on a full set if it's not a set?

The price is $5 per bulb.

Unfortunately, the margins for these custom-made LEDs are not large enough for us to discount unless you are buying in bulk quantities (1,000s)

The state of the art brightest LEDs made in that wavelength are still way too dim to be made into a bulb for aftermarket gauges.

We have tried numerous times with different vendors to make a bulb like you have described for our VW customers.

That's why we came out with our Indigo line of gauges that match the VW instrument panel

will the LEDs be able to fade, cuz i know that alot of the LEDs have trouble with that cuz of the intensity of the light.

do these pop right into the back of the gauge cluster like the stock ones, or is there more extensive work needed.

The LED bulbs do fade if you tap into a line that is controlled by the dimmer.

The LED bulbs are designed to work with aftermarket gauges (VDO, Autometer...) or other (interior) lighting that has a 194/168 compatible wedge bulb holder.

A modern gauge cluster (instrument panel) uses surface mounted LEDs that need to be removed and new ones resoldered back in place.

we used to have a member here that made direct replacements for the LED's in the back of our cluster, in like 10 colors. i have his blue ones, but they are only one LED, you guys should do somthing like that but with these triLED's. im sure you would sell tons.

The bulbs are not for the back lights on the instrument panel. I ordered them and they do not work.
