***Custom Red LEDs for Gauges***

We have custom designed red LED bulbs that are significantly brighter than single chip LED bulbs. These bulbs have the same wavelength as the ION red instrumentation.

Using 3 LEDs, our TriLED bulbs will even light up rimlit gauges like Autometer!

These LEDs are direct replacements for your existing 194/168 incandescent bulbs, generate very little heat and last virtually forever. FYI - the variance in brightness of the VDO is due to the way that the VDO is lit with light pipes to radiate the light around the gauge.

MSRP = $5

For more information or to purchase go to our LED page

No promises...however -

There are several different colors of white LEDs available - what are you trying to match?

nothing trying to match yet. I'm still searching for a set of white leds to replace behind the factory instrument panel. But thinking about it now, I'd probably go red, since my wideband reads out in red, as well as a couple of gauges I have yet to install also read red. Guess it would be kind of funny to have my boost gauge backlight white.

Are the LEDs in the instrument panel bulbs or are they SMDs (surface mounted) and need to soldered in place?

That's what happens when "someone" accidentally hits the edit button instead of quote.
