Cool. Lemme know.

Registration looks to be early. 9:30 - 10. I'd probably get up there around then. U could always putter up later.

Hey Brian, what are YOU doing on Sunday? Alleycat's coming, too. Gotta get some LSJs there.

Hell, even if my intake's not in, I'll proally still go up and chance limp mode Would look like an ass, but oh well. I'll be bored.

I could possibly go. I don't know if I have money right now to buy a helmet. Looks like it should be a decent day for it.

Wanna split the cost of a helmet? haha. I wouldn't mind some sweat. Long as you don't have cooties or anything.

Cause I somehow think the folks running the event wouldn't appreicate us running at the same time...

Hmmm... maybe the mean it cant JUST be DOT approved. I saw several helmets that had DOT stickers, but no Snell approvals on the helmet. Mine is both... 90% of the ones I saw were both...

I'd email the registrar and double check... that can't be right... I have an O'Neil Crossfire motorcycle helmet, it's M2000 and DOT approved... the accept it for my road racing at 120 mph... I can't see why it wouldn't be suitable for autox at 45 mph...

Spoon, about how much you generally pay for your helmets? Cost isn't much of an issue, but I'm still a cheap mo-fo. Hence the go-fast Saturn, and not Cobalt SC or SRT-4

You can find them pretty cheap... check Pep Boys if they're around... My helmet was supposed to be like $150, but it was mis-marked at $69... hehe...

They had a few open faced helmets for $50-$80, somewhere in that range... You have little chance of hitting anything very hard out there, unelss somethign TERRIBLE occurs...

I worked at a Pep Boys between high school and college. BTW, best summer job ever...even if I smelled like tires after work...

Don't remember seeing helmets, but I'll pop in. Anywhere else they might sell em? Even if I don't get my intake installed, I'm still planning on going, limp mode be damned. The car's been okay, anyway

So far alleycat said she's going. One of my friends with a Teg-R is gonna be heading up. I think it'd be a blast. Hopefully they're mostly right hand turns -- need to smoke up that passenger side front tire. It's got full tread, whereas the rest will be up after this summer
