Alleycat's getting some Balt owners together. Looks like there might be a cruise after the event:

I THINK so, the SCCA classes confused the hell out of me... they put Ender with us in SM for having an intake, exhaust, and CF hood...

I tried reading the handbook. It was like reading James Joyce.

Oh well, I'll go there w/ my helmet and my Red Line and try my best

Hopefully Freak will putter his way up with a video camera...I'd also like to see Alley run her Balt SS/s/c since she's run before. Should be entertaining. And, apparently, my friend w/ the Teg-R has run a good bit, and beat most people in his class. I think he's running with WRXs? I know he has the LSD. Fun little car, that Teg.

Bought a helmet on the way home @ Honda House. HCJ...$99. Whatever. I haven't bought anything recently. Snell and DOT approved...

...Brian, if you wanna borrow it on Sunday, more than welcome. I got a large...pretty big dome haha.

I will be there. I do have a spare helmet somewhere. I will try and get it out and look for the snell sticker. If I have it and it's useable, someone's welcome to use it.

Awesome...I'll be installing the CAI, washing and waxing, and getting ready to roll Saturday. Dan told me 42 psi for the tires...sounds good.

I hope we can get some pics I'll bring a digital camera, too.

I had my best time on the stock dunlops with not quite 40 up front, and 37 in the rears... pics show no rollover. I used higher pressures road racing to get my best times though. If you bring a piece of chalk, you can draw a strip across the sidewall and onto the tread to show how far it's rolling over. 42/40 isn't a bad rate though. You might be more comfortable just setting them like he said, and then worrying about driving and not tire pressures. You'll get better traction with less air, but the feel will degrade some, and if the tire rolls over too far, traction will suffer.

Do you have a GOOD tire gauge? If not, pick one up at the autoparts store. Don't use the cheap kind. Best kind, is the round faced guage, has about 6" of hose, and will hold the reading after you take it. Real good ones will also allow you to bleed air through the guage. You can get one for like $20-$30, it's well worth it. Just don't drop it!
