Black RL in Odenton

Spotted it yesterday parked in the Odenton shopping center. It didn't have the big wing to catch my eye, but the comp wheels stood out. Doubt anyone on here... but maybe they visit and will see this and sign up?? Who knows. But it looked like the car needed a bath. Then again, mine does too.

Where the hell have you been hiding? Is that car of yours still slow or did you buy some toys for it yet? I am getting my S2 installed this weekend and hopefully my new monster FMIC.

I've been posting a lot more than before, i've surpassed you. My car is still "slow" Not really sure what route i'm going with it. I've done very little modding for a while and i'm not sure if I want to get the mod bug back?? Maybe some more suspension work so I can turn, but I don't really care about HP numbers and going fast. Maybe after I get my raise in two months that thought process will change. But I've got to save for a house so I don't know how well $1200 falls into that plan. Though I would really love to be Stage II...??

Damn, you are past me on posts. I need to start filling some of these threads with some useless shit like Alpha so I can catch up. I have not bought anything in a while for my car either, I am just getting around to putting all the crap I already bought on it. And stick with the house idea, its a MUCH better investment than the car.

House is on the top of my list. Save all year, next January, start looking and have a house by spring time for some cookouts. Houses down here are crazy expensive, and i'm not willing to commute any amount of distance so I've got to do a bit more saving than usual, but it'll pay off in the end. Who knows, maybe i'll get a decent tax return and do some stuff?? I see you got new rims??

Yeah I came across a good deal that I could not pass up, plus they are only 15lbs each if I remember correctly.

Tires included or could you use your stock tires?? Either way, they look nice.

I decided to buy new tires with the wheels. The stock tires are 205's and the new ones are 225's. Its night and day as far as handling. Between the new rubber and the monster sway bars I put on it the car feels like its on rails. I am looking for some coilovers so I can sit it down a little lower.

Yeah, sway bars are on my list... probably right after winter is over. I thought about coilovers, but I'm not ever going to do auto-x or road courses, so I figured lowering springs and performance struts after the stockers go bad would be fine. I've been happy with the springs, lower stance, better handling, better looks, worse ride comfort, but hell, your in a skittle as it is, you don't care abour ride comfort, haha. I guess between backfire and loud exhaust noise it COULD be comfortable.

Yeah the SRT is not the most comfortable ride but it rides 1000x better than my RL did. If anyone on here reads this I will get flamed but I drove both for a year and the SRT feel a lot less harsh going over bumps. I would say overall the SRT feels more solid to me.
